With the course element Opencast, recordings of meetings and courses that are stored on an Opencast server can be integrated into OpenOlat courses.

The configuration and connection of the Opencast server is done in the administration under External tools > Opencast.

Once an Opencast server has been set up, either individual videos or entire series can be embedded in the course module under the “Configuration” tab.
You can search for an existing video or series directly in the search field by entering the name, or via the “Search for video” / “Search for series” button in a separate pop-up window. There, the available videos/series can be listed, presorted under the tabs “My Videos” (“My Series”) and “Public.”
