Certificates and credit points
Concept study: possible new presentation
This page is part of an experiment exploring how the visual entry point to the Course Planner could look in the future. The content is deliberately abbreviated. The regular manual page Course Planner is authoritative.
Implementations can be linked to certification programs; serial numbers are human-readable, credit points are checked including the permissions. Recertification is part of the certification program: obtaining a certificate again after it has expired.
How do I do this?
In the "Certification programs" area, create a program via "Create certification program" and set it up in the tabs: link the qualifying implementations in the "Implementations" tab, and define the validity period, recertification and required credit points under Settings > Configuration.
Prerequisites
Course Planner activated; implementations to link exist. For credit points as a prerequisite or means of payment, the module "Credit points" is required.
Where do I find the setting
Course Planner > Certification programs
Connections
A certificate is issued for attending one implementation or several courses; the linked implementations are combined with OR (one is enough). Unmet recertification criteria end the membership automatically.
