The path to a running installation

Five stations lead from the basic settings to a connected installation. The order follows the setup of a new instance: first the system, then access, roles, modules, and finally exams and external tools. Each station explains its terms, shows what is easily confused, and leads to the manual page.

Before you start

You need the system role System administrator. Only with it does Administration appear in the main navigation. Who gets which role is explained in the station Roles.
