Events, teachers and rooms

Concept study: possible new presentation

This page is part of an experiment exploring how the visual entry point to the Course Planner could look in the future. The content is deliberately abbreviated. The regular manual page Course Planner is authoritative.

Events are attached directly to the element: with management of the teachers by bulk action, automatically created online meetings (BigBlueButton, MS Teams) and taxonomy assignment. For physical events, room management is added.

How do I do this?

Create or import events in the "Events" tab of an implementation via "Add event". If the module "Rooms" is active, assign rooms in the "Rooms" field; coaches can be booked as teachers on events.

Prerequisites

Implementation exists. For room booking, the module "Rooms" must be active. Only coaches can be made teachers.

Where do I find the setting

Course Planner > Implementations > "Your implementation" > Events tab

Connections

Events refer to an implementation or an element and allow the recording of absences as well as the link to online meetings. The central room booking is kept in the system administration:
Administration > Modules > Rooms
