File and Data Collections
OpenOlat collects objects and files in various containers. Here is an overview.
How do the objects differ?
Example: Video
a) mp4 file, without additions = object in the File Hub
b) mp4 file + metadaten, versioning etc. = object in Media Center
c) mp4 file + quizzes, comments, etc. = learning resource video, object in the authoring area
