This chapter is written for course authors and shows you the way to your own course. It is best to first get an overview of the entire course cycle and then the relevant chapters.
Both newcomers and experienced OpenOLAT authors will learn how to create, design and configure courses. The process approach, the structure of the course editor, the principle of the course elements, further tools of the course editor, the setup of the general course settings as well as the configuration of the course access are explained.
There are two variants of OpenOLAT courses: Conventional courses and Learning path courses. The conventional courses can either be created directly in the course editor or with the assistant.
